This VoIP module allows alarm systems to communicate over a
broadband Internet connection while enabling dealers to increase recurring
monthly revenue by selling the cost-effective VoIP phone service.
Manufactured by Linksys specifically for Vontronix, the VoIP module solves a
major issue that has been plaguing the security industry. Now dealers are able
to provide a cost-effective solution to the communication problem of sending
alarm signals over VoIP.
Dealers can also increase their residual and recurring monthly
revenue stream by offering customers the VoIP telephone service from Vontronix.
At an affordable monthly rate, Vontronix phone service offers advanced features
including E911, directory assistance, follow me, find me, voicemail messages
sent to email, and more.
“As more and more people move from traditional phone service to
VoIP, it is important for ADI to provide our dealers with a solution that allows
their alarm panels to communicate over broadband Internet connections,” said
Scott Sturgess, director of product management for intrusion and fire products
at ADI. “We are pleased to provide the Vontronix VoIP solution and phone
services and give our dealers an opportunity to compete in this space.
The Vontronix module is a two-line analog telephone adapter
designed to support VoIP alarm and telephone services, and is compatible with
any Contact ID Panel or central station receiver. The VoIP module converts
analog signals into TCP/IP format to communicate over broadband Internet
connections. This solution allows dealers to offer a dependable method for alarm
transmission and feature-rich telephone service. The Vontronix service sends
email alerts upon alarm activity, and allows latchkey notifications if alarms
become disabled. The system is also fully supervised and will report upon
failure.
FINANCING FOR DEALERS
Howard Avin, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for
Nationwide Digital Monitoring
888-356-7211

Through their “Security First” dealer finance program Nationwide Digital
Monitoring will give dealers the ability to compete with the “big box” security
firms offering no-down or highly discounted programs to customers. This approach
allows the dealer to sell accounts out right as he creates them or recover
ownership after the initial contract term. This finance program has a
non-recourse program with out holdbacks or guarantees while still offering a
competitive multiple.
This finance program handles residential and commercial dealers equally,
particularly those who are providing integrated services. This means that the
dealer can finance Audio/Video, without monitoring, for the homeowner and
deliver financing for CCTV and access control in the commercial sector.
